The developers of Cyberpunk 2077 - CD PROJEKT RED - have finally revealed interesting information about the financial side of their project. And it's not just about the number of copies sold. Now we know how many players wanted to return their copy of the game that failed at the start of the game.
The CDPR statement was based on data received from distributors. According to the developers, by the end of 2020, more than 13.7 million copies of Cyberpunk 2077 had been sold. At the same time, 30 thousand players wished to return their copy. 2.23 million dollars was spent on the refund program itself, it follows from the developer's message.
Computers and the Stadia platform accounted for the most sales - 56% of the total digital copies sold. 28% came from PlayStation 4 and 17% from Xbox One. In general, the company has earned $ 316 million.
